James E. Robinson has a broad range of experience in all facets of project planning and development in both the public and private sectors. He is currently the President and CEO of the Cumberland Group, a consulting group that provides strategic planning, real estate development and construction management services. In addition Mr. Robinson is a Member and the Chief Operating Officer of a recently formed, June 2012, real estate development firm, Anteva. Mr. Robinson has also been employed at Brooklyn’s Bedford-­‐Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation as the Vice-­‐President of the Physical Development Division. In this position he oversaw the development of more than 1,200 units of Section 8 subsidized housing as well as being a part of the permanent mortgage “closing” of the much heralded Restoration Plaza Mall. He has also served as the NYC Regional Director for the NYS Urban Development Corporation as well as the Director of Housing for the NYS Harlem Urban Development Corporation. Mr. Robinson has been a public member of the NYC Loft Board and the NYS Board of Real Estate Appraisers. He earned a Masters Degree in Urban Planning at New York University and a Bachelor of Science Degree at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York
