What
CIBS is a non profit organization located in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant. In light of the 2010 Census, CIBS has created a Census outreach initiative in an attempt to raise the participation rates in the Bedford-Stuyvesant community through a video contest, giving winners a chance to give $500 back to local New York City charities or organizations. Although the deadline has passed to turn in Census Forms, it is not too late to make an impact. Census Takers are still scheduled to go out and visit homes, as such CIBS still wants to stress the importance of the Census to open residents to the thought of still being involved of these important endeavors.
