Stronger Households = Stronger Community

Introducing All For One (A4O), a new approach to community collaboration and neighborhood empowerment. A4O centers on the basic idea that the people who live and do business in a neighborhood can become stronger by working together.

Founded as a collaborative initiative by the three lead organizations of CIBS, A4O is not just a program; it is a way to harness the community’s resources to improve the quality of life for neighbors one household at a time. Using a data-driven service model and state-of-the-art technology, A4O partners are developing a menu of integrated services to address what residents specifically need to attain financial independence and household stability.

Because our approach is so customized, A4O is being conducted as a pilot initiative focused on empowering select households in northern Bedford-Stuyvesant. By channeling our initial efforts into a concentrated area, we intend to achieve tangible results that will support its expansion.

Everyone Has a Part to Play

We’re calling for everyone in the Bed-Stuy community to participate in this initiative: community advocates, businesses, social service agencies and other community pillars–and especially neighborhood residents themselves.  Here’s how you can help.

Join the A4O Network as a Partner

Many of the neighborhood’s businesses and agencies are already partnering with us to provide services that will benefit our neighbors and incentives to encourage households to participate.

Tell Us What You Think

Select households in northern Bedford-Stuyvesant are invited to complete a series of simple questions to help us tailor our services. This survey will be conducted by A4O Community Coaches and will help us put together the services we will offer. There is no cost to participate, and individuals will be compensated for their time.

When: Monday and Thursdays from August 20th – October 2nd, from 2-5 PM
Where: JobsPlus, 630 Flushing Ave., 1st flr (entrance through Tompkins Ave. parking lot)

Spread the Word

Our team of A4O Community Coaches is already out in the neighborhood meeting with members of the community. Please speak with them and help us get more people involved.
